Artist's Description

Sunset in Parc Forillon in the Gaspe. Here, as elsewhere in Quebec, the piers of yesteryear continue to crumble and are often fenced off. This pier has actually become a island, here inhabited by two silhouettes. Forillon marks the easternmost point of of the southern part of Quebec (with the exception of Madeleine Islds).
