Description
View of a straight stretch of Route 138 near Havre St-Pierre (QC). Despite being the lifeline of the remote Cote-Nord region of Quebec, the road is not very traveled, thus allowing such middle of the road shots. As I was kneeling on the asphalt, I could however hear the roar of a coming truck among the buzzing of insects - I didn't have too much time to frame and shoot

Driving this road at 70 mph one might consider it a bunch of nothing, trees, trees, trees. Here you've found a lot of interesting things, the texture of the road, two lines taking the journey in their own way - one solid, one on a more start and stop path. Plus the absolute loneliness of a road that has so few cars that the photographer can sit his camera in the middle of it!
